What Is a Voiceover Artist?
A voiceover artist is a professional who uses their voice to convey messages, narrate stories, or bring characters to life in various forms of media.
Their voice is often recorded and layered over visuals, animations, or other audio productions. These artists excel in expressing emotion, tone, and personality, making them vital in engaging audiences.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years plus
- Valid SA Identity Document
- NQF4 (Matric certificate)
- Voice over and/or acting experience is an added advantage.
- Must be proficient in the language they are auditioning for (ISIZULU, ISIXHOSA, ISINDEBELE, SISWATI, SETSWANA, SESOTHO, ENGLISH. AFRIKAANS, SEPEDI, XITSONGA, TSHIVENDA).
- Live in/around, or be able to travel to Johannesburg, Monday – Friday 8am-4pmsecond voice clip to rapauditions@sabc.co.za
