How Long Does UNISA Take to Respond to Applications?
The University of South Africa (Unisa) is calling on all prospective students
who applied for admission for the 2025 academic year to respond to their acceptance letters of enrolment within 10 days. Not doing so may mean they will have to forfeit their application.
Prospective students are reminded to respond to acceptance offers for 2025 enrolment within 10 days. Failure to accept the offer within 10 days may result in the offer expiring and you will have to reapply in the next academic year.
All applications must be submitted online as no self-help stations will be available for applications at regional offices.
Applicants will need the following:
- A valid email address
- A valid cellphone number
- South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
- Copy of your school qualifications (eg Senior Certificate)
- Application fee of R125 which should be paid once you receive your student number (where applicable).
