The Minister of State for Education, Dr. Yusuf Sununu Announced the release of NCEE Results of Academic year 2025.

About NCEE

The National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) is for admission into Junior Secondary School (JSS 1) of Federal Government Unity Colleges. Only final year pupils of Primary School who shall not be less them 10 years by September of the examination year are eligible to write the examination.

Before You Begin – Ensure You Have the Following:

• Your NCEE Examination Number
• The Examination Year
• A valid email address
• A NCEE Result Checking Scratch Card (purchase details will be provided below)

How To Check NCEE result 2024/2025 Online.

If you want to check your National Common Entrance Examination Result  follow the steps by steps procedure listed below:

Step 1: Purchase Your NECO Result Checking Token

Before you can access your results, you need to purchase a NECO Result Checking Token. This token replaces the scratch card system previously used.

You can buy the token online through the NECO Results website: https://result.neco.gov.ng.

• Go to https://result.neco.gov.ng.
• Click on ‘Purchase Token’.

If you already have an account, log in with your email and password. If not, you’ll need to create an account by clicking on ‘Register’ and filling in your details.

Once logged in, click on ‘Purchase Token’ again and follow the prompts to make your payment.

You can pay with your debit card. After payment, your token will be made available under your account’s ‘My Tokens’ section.

Step 2: Access the NECO Result Checking Portal

• With your token ready, you’re set to check your results.
• Navigate to the NECO Result Checking Portal at https://result.neco.gov.ng.
• Here, you’ll be greeted with a form to fill out.

Step 3: Enter Your Exam Details

Carefully input the required details in the form:

• Select the Exam Year, e.g., 2023.
• Choose the Exam Type, such as SSCE Internal (JUN/JUL) or SSCE External (NOV/DEC), depending on which you participated in.
• Enter your Token Number (this is the token you purchased earlier).
• Type in your Examination/Registration Number in the specified field.
• Click on the “Check My Result” button.

Information To Be Release Along With The Result.

The board conduction this examination “National Examination Council (NECO)” will also release the detail/statistics of the examination which are.

1. The total number of candidate that register for the exam
2. The total number of candidate that sat for the exam
3. Name and State of the Candidate that has the highest score
4. The number of candidates that has the least score
5. The most sort after college
6. The least sort after college
7. Schedule date for placement exercise (second interview).
