The MEHRD year 7 placements official Released the students who are completed the year six and meet the condition criteria are transited to year 7.The placement of Year 6 students for the transition to Year 7 in 2024 was said to be successfully conducted in accordance with the Solomon Islands Secondary Entrance Examination (SISEE) Phase Out Placement Guideline 2019.
The Solomon Islands’ education system is structured as follows:
- The academic year runs from January to December.
- The official age for entering primary school is 6 years old.
- The primary school cycle lasts 6 years.
- Lower secondary lasts 3 years.
- Upper secondary lasts 4 years.
