According to Hon. Monica Chang’anamuno, Deputy Minister of Education, the Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PSLCE) test results would be released prior to the commencement of the new academic year. The Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB) and the Ministry are reportedly finalising the procedures that would culminate in the publication of the results, according to Hon. Chang’anamuno.
This is in response to concerns raised by parents, guardians, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding the delay in the results’ publication. Hon. Chang’anamuno claims that MANEB has taken the necessary steps to guarantee that the examination procedure was carried out efficiently and appropriately.
The results would be released in accordance with the Ministry’s efforts to establish accountability and transparency in its operations, the Deputy Minister further informed. The most recent PSLCE tests, which are held annually by MANEB, took place in October 2022.
