Registration for Abet Adult Matric for academic year 2024 /2025 are Opened since October 2024 Up to February 7, 2025 The Candidates are invited to Apply for Second chance Matric Results.
To register for the 2024 Senior Certificate (SC) examination, adults can:
- Register online at eservices.gov.za
- Visit a provincial education office, including a provincial head office, district office, or circuit office
To register, you’ll need to:
- Complete a registration form
- Provide a certified copy of your ID document, birth certificate, or passport (if you’re a foreign candidate)
- If you’re a repeater, attach a copy of your previous highest qualification
- If you’ve written any other Grade 12 or equivalent exams, provide the examination numbers
To qualify for the SC, you must:
- Be 21 years or older
- Have a General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)
- Have a Grade 9 school report that states you passed Grade 9 or Standard 7
- Have a recognized equivalent qualification that requires two official languages
- Have an incomplete Senior Certificate qualification
The exams are written in May/June. Registration opens by mid-October and closes on January 31
