Cape Peninsula University of Technology CPUT Academic calendar and Term dates 2025/2026 All new CPUT students at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology CPUT are hereby informed that the management of the school has released the academic calendar for terms I and II of 2025.
The Cape Peninsula University of Technology CPUT academic calendar is published online for use by staff and students for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programmes. The calendar includes all activities and events that take place during the first and second term.
CPUT Academic Calendar And Important Dates 2025
An academic year consists of two parts. The first semester begins in early February and the second semester in late July. About three weeks of vacation in between. The second phase will end at the end of November.
The term semester (called ‘semester’ in some universities) is used to divide the academic year into separate teaching and assessment units. On average, each term lasts 12 weeks and includes lectures, tutorials, assessments and holidays
Students, faculty and staff will be able to return to campus and work, and all classes will resume.
