The National Senior Certificate (NSC) and the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) are the primary exams. - Navigate to the Department of Basic Education’s official matric results portal: https://www.education.gov.za/MatricResults/ExamResults/tabid/175/Default.aspx.
- Once there, enter your Matric Examination Number in the required field.
- You’ll also need to provide your ID number.
- Click on ‘search’ or the corresponding button to process your request.
- Your results should be displayed on the screen.

- Head to the official IEB @ https://www.ieb-online.co.za
- Provide your Exam number and ID number in the specified fields.
- Upon submitting your details, your results will be accessible.

Matric Results From Your High School
If you can travel to your high school where you wrote your Matric exams you will be able to access your matric exams marks there from 11:55am on the 19th of January 2025.
