CHIETA Overview
The Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) is a statutory body that was established by the Skills Development Act in 1998. CHIETA’s role in the sector, is to facilitate skills development as well as to ensure that skills needs are identified and addressed through various training initiatives in the chemical and manufacturing industries.

Salary Scale:
- Perm: From R894 918.00 CTC to a max of R 1 185 041.00 per annum
- Temp: From R74 576.00 CTC – to a max of R87 115 CTC per month
Who is Eligible to Apply
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Software Development/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Informatics / Financial Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum of Three (3) years of Systems Development in a Lead Developer position.
- Solid experience in JavaScript and the Node.js ecosystem.
- Extra credit for knowledge of ODOO.
- Knowledge of Web and Mobile Development; .NET Core Framework; ASP.NET, MVC, Web API and Core; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript; jQuery, Angular and React; ORM; Web Services (REST & SOAP), Workflow systems; SQL Server 2022; MySQL 8; Database Design.
