HWSETA Overview
Skills development is a national priority for South Africa and meeting the country’s skills needs requires collaboration between public and government entities, educational institutions, training providers, and private organisations.
South Africa’s economy is divided into functional sectors and each of these sectors is represented by one of 21 Sector Education Training Authorities (SETAs). HWSETA is responsible for education, training and skills development of the health, social development and veterinary sectors.

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa
The WSP Officer will support the WSP initiatives of the HWSETA by capacitating provincial personnel, advocating WSP/ATR submissions and performing evaluations, recommendations and first line approval of WSP/ATR.
Minimum Qualification:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training and Development, Human Resources Development, Social Sciences, Finance, Auditing.
Minimum Experience:
- 4 – 6 years in Training and Development environment
- Skills Development experience advantageous
- Advanced computer Literacy
Duties:
- WSP policy implementation
- Quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation, and risk management
- Evaluate and recommend WSP/ATR submissions
- Capacity building of the provincial personnel
- Stakeholder support and advocacy
- Reporting and administration
Remuneration Package: R580 219 per annum
