About Foskor
The Foskor Zirconia plant was commissioned in 1991 and produces Monoclinic and Calcia Stabilised Zirconia with Fumed Silica as a by-product. Customers use our products in a variety of applications including ceramic colors, abrasives, chemicals and refractory products for the glass and steel industries.
Our Fused Zirconia plant has been designed and built to incorporate the most up to date technology and equipment from all over the world. The desire for maximum production flexibility has resulted in a modular plant capable of meeting the most varied of customer requirements. Emphasis is placed on the manufacturing of products customized to meet specific customer requirements.
We are located in the north-eastern corner of South Africa in the town of Phalaborwa, on the border of worldwide famous Kruger National Park, some 500 km from Johannesburg, in an area known for its large phosphate and copper mines.
